As the old saying goes, "There is no place like home". After a tiring day everyone thinks about coming back home and winding down. We feel most comfortable among well-known objects. However, sometimes our surroundings can depress us even more.
We come home and what do we see? A total disorder. Lots of different stuff placed in accidental places. You can hardly move. Maybe it is high-time to declutter you home?
Many people believe that living in a clean, well-organized home affects one's life. No mess at home means no mess in life. So let's get started!
Do you really think that one day you will need those old newspapers, postcards, clothes that no longer suit you? Do you really think that your children or grandchildren will appreciate your old toys no longer trendy? Think it over. Of course, there are some things of sentimental value but there is no need to attach importance to everything. If you continue to collect needless goods, you won't be able to find the most important ones. Declutter your home with consideration. Remember, you won't be able to clean the whole house in a few hours. Plan your "operation declutter". Set yourself feasible goals. Prepare some big trash bags and set out on voyage through mountains of chaos in your house. Don't give up. Everything seems difficult at the beginning. Focus on the result of your effort. Imagine how wonderful it would be to have your home decluttered. You will be able to invite your friends without shame. They won't trip over something lying on the floor... What's more, you will find missing documents of great importance.
Try on every piece of clothing - if it doesn't suit you, give it to charity. Throw away everything what is broken, torn or stained. Don't keep old magazines and newspapers as you will never read them again. Check your medicine chest - some of the medicine may be expired. Clean room after room, shelf after shelf. Declutter your home, start a new life and try not to clutter up your household again.
