3. Slat or Persian

Slat or horizontal blinds are truly the most sought after window blind. They consist of many horizontal slats. These style blinds have a series of strings holding together. This is what determines the correct amount of light allowed in between each individual slat. Whenever pulling the string all the way, it allows the entire window to be exposed. This in turn enables most of the light to enter the window. Slat or Persian style blinds are constructed in plastic, metal, or stiffened fabric.

4. Venetian

Venetian blinds are most typically constructed from plastic, metal, wood or bamboo. These are actually a form of horizontal blinds which can be rotated at approximately 180 degrees. The slats will be in sync with each other whenever being rotated. Pulling a cord operates them.

5. Honeycomb Blinds and Cellular Blinds

A more stylish and sophisticated style of blinds. These blinds are beautiful. When you look at them from the side they look like a series of honeycombs. They keep the room temperature regulated in both summer and winter.
