Insufficient Funds and the Cure for the Common Cause

A serious affliction is infecting a large number of people who aren’t even aware of the affliction, much less that they’ve been carrying it for a very long time. It’s invisible to them, and even though they are vaguely aware of the symptoms, they actually believe that these symptoms are a sign of health. They therefore nurture and justify their affliction with their entire identity.Sounds serious, doesn’t it? Well, the affliction I am writing about is what I’ll call the Wealth Scarcity…See More

Can I ask you a favor?

Marketing legend, Bill Glazer has just published his latest book. It's called Outrageous Advertising, and his promotion of the book is no less outrageous than the book's content. He's holding a contest, the winner of which will receive a free ticket to his expensive marketing summit as well as a free 30 minutes of his personal coaching, which I'd estimate to be worth somewhere in the mid 5 figures.I've entered the contest which is to submit a video on YouTube promoting his book. The video with…See More

The little-known business lesson contained within a small jar of spaghetti sauce

Hard to believe, but in the so called age of "over-consumption" - of CDs, MTV, fitness products of every variety, thousands of video games and pet rocks of infinite variety of the 1980's - that there was only one variety of jarred spaghetti sauce from category leader Ragu. It was thin and, well, pretty boring. But that was what the culinary geniuses at Ragu thought everyone wanted. That was, until upstart Prego challenged that notion and changed forever how the world would taste spaghetti…See More

Better late than never to get aboard my good friend Edison's HV Biz.

If any of you are attending the upcoming Chamber Expo, I created a sheet I call the "top 5 trade show mistakes that could cost you thousands"

Good luck at the show.
